This release strengthens output and delivery for research-paper workflows:

• Multilingual paper output: papers can now be generated in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, and Spanish
• Broader deliverable formats: output packages now emphasize PDF, Word, LaTeX, and ZIP handoff formats
• Better downstream usability: generated work is easier to review, revise, archive, and pass to collaborators

Workflow improvements

• Homepage simplification: pricing is no longer shown by default and appears only when purchase intent is clear
• Blog and brand cleanup: removed template content and replaced it with product-specific writing

New workflow pieces

This release made the post-generation flow usable end to end:

• Paper preview: completed jobs can now be previewed directly
• Unlock flow: finished but locked papers now enter a credit-based unlock path
• Report history: users can review previous jobs, timestamps, and statuses in one list
• Auto-refreshing job states: queued and running jobs refresh automatically

Experience improvements

• Clearer job states: queued, running, succeeded, partial success, and failed states are easier to interpret
• Credit visibility: balance information is now shown closer to unlock decisions
• Better mobile handling: report list and actions work more cleanly on smaller screens

Fixes and safeguards

• Blocked duplicate creation: users can no longer create a new paper while a completed one is still pending unlock
• Download access checks: locked results now correctly branch into the unlock flow
• Consistent upload validation: file-size and file-type checks are now aligned across client and server

Core capabilities

The first release established the base path from upload to generation:

• Survey-data uploads: supports CSV, XLSX, and XLS exports from survey and questionnaire tools
• Research-topic input: users can add a topic to guide framing and paper generation
• Output-language selection: users can choose the paper language at submission time
• End-to-end job creation: connected the submission UI to the backend report-generation pipeline
• Homepage-first entry point: users can start paper generation directly from the landing page

Product positioning

This release established Data2Paper as a survey-first paper-generation service rather than a generic spreadsheet-to-document tool. The workflow is shaped around survey exports, response data, and research deliverables.

Baseline safeguards

• File-type validation: restricted uploads to formats common in research-export workflows
• Upload-size limits: added a 50MB limit for more stable processing
• Login gating: unauthenticated users are redirected correctly when they try protected actions
